Small but with a great community feel. We have a cafe, pub, fish & chip shop and supermarket for all your food and drink needs. We have a community hall, skate park and multiple public toilets available to help everyone. And, of course, we have the stunning Hampton beach, miles and miles of sandy beach and surf.

Head north on the beach (at low tide only or you will get wet!) and you'll meet few, if anyone. Head south and you get to the Moeraki Boulders. Stop off for a coffee or ice cream at their cafe and gift shop, or carry on to the far south end of the beach where you can then head along the Millennium Track to Moeraki Village.

Moeraki Village has a small beach and a good pub overlooking the harbour, the perfect place to sit outside for lunch on a warm day. Explore the headland, especially the lighthouse, seals and the penguin colony.
